This is a great list, some of them made me laugh out loud and others I was nodding my head while reading.
Hi Lori!
I’m happy to make you laugh
Dan

Thanks! I’ll check your website too
Dan
Dan, those are some great points you made here with several ringing true for me. Also, I agree about updating old posts – it can be amazing what happens when you take the time to go through your posts to give them a touch-up, remove links that are no longer relevant, or update your photos.
Yes, i think that it’s one of the best blogging strategy
Ciao!
Dan
A solid list, with some fun quirky bits and encouragement. Well done!
Thanks Rob!
Really appreciated
Dan
Very good list and it does put some of us in our place…I’ve been blogging for fun for around 8 months when I decided to try to profit from my blogs. I started putting more ads, to the point that I lost some readers. Still trying to trim the list down, but was getting used to the monthly check. Thanks for the list to remind us why we do this…
Just Added the Top 5 Fail Gifs to my blog.
You’re welcome!
your list is c-r-a-z-y
Every succesful blog require an hard, hard work
Something I’m really putting into my head right now
Awesome post Melvin! This definitely earned a bookmark from me and a tweet as well (:
Thanks Rob…
you’ve an interesting blog!
Great points. Especially about the difference between a blogger and a journalist (19). ‘Just give your point of view’ is essential in blogging.
And indeed subjects are never out of date (1). I notice that myself when I google something I want to know. It are often rather old posts and still they tell me what I want to know. But I always do look good at the date because about certain subjects, especially webrelated, it is important to know if things might have changed.
And the point about original and relevant (18) is also very interesting. And it is something that is becoming more and more clear with mediums like Twitter, which makes it easier to know what is relevant at a certain time.
That point is my favourite Anne
I don’t know how the situation is outside of Italy but here this is an hot topic.
I was looking at your title on Problogger Forum and thought that “37″ is scary BIG number for a blog post.
However, it’s a list with great insights.
I like this “Every succesful blog require an hard, hard work”.
Expand this and make into an ebook. Challenge Darren and give him some pressure.
Nice idea Luis…. it could be a nice guide adding nice pics to each point…
Do you think tha Darren could be interested in?
Dan, what an inspriring list! I see you do as you preach, by for myself, I pass on #25, I don’t want to say the last word every single time
Hi Natalia
I’m answering to all comments because i’m very happy to have this feedback. I’m an italian blogger and i started the english version of Ikaro from few time…so.. i am currenlty like a kid in wonderland
Ciao!
Dan
Nice list and especially no. 28 resonated with me. Being technical, sometimes I obsess too much so that’s a timely reminder for myself.
Im totally agree with the above tips especially for the number 32.
For me, the difference between probloggers and normal bloggers is how patience they are to keep blogging until they are succeed in the niche that they are in.
For me, to succeed, we have to face with a lot of challenges and crticism as those things are the one that will shape us to be a good blogger.
Cheers!
Yep… I also like to say that success is built on past failures…
Cool stuff. Nice to see some Paulistas on your staff. I lived there for 6 months, and I love Brazil, altough I would never want to live in SAMPA again. Nice List. Really interesting ideas. I like the fact that you were so honest and open.
San Paolo city IS-A-MESS…. I never saw so many traffic like that. People get blocked inside cars for hours and hours… a real nightmare.
But it is enough to go one hour afar from the city and the situation change. People slow down, it’s a good living and there’s delicious food. It’s a little bit dangerous but what city it is not?
Dan, great list post! Definitely some laughs in there, and the first one especially struck me as a fellow blogger. The “curse of knowledge” as Chip and Dan Heath write about in Made To Stick is one of the first things I think educational bloggers and writers have to overcome. Just because you know something doesn’t mean someone else does! And what you think is trivial, to those out of the know, can be a goldmine.
Thanks also for the comment, fellow blogger! Good luck with your Canon.
Thanks James!
Here in Italy there’s the bad behaviour to “seems expert 4 others experts” but giving our knoledgment to newbies is a noble and pleasant goal.
Don’t anybody else did the same with us in the past when we was newbie??
See u soon my friend!
Dan
